摘要
ESP课程代表着大学英语教学的改革方向,新建本科院校要走特色发展之路,就必须注重ESP课程建设这一创新平台,把传统的基础语言技能培养与专业知识学习、实际应用能力培养紧密结合起来,从而使大学英语教学更好地服务人才培养目标。
ESP courses represent the reform in college English teaching and its future development. If they are to develop their features, newly-built universities ought to pay much attention to ESP courses construction, the platform for innovation, closely combining the traditional language skills development and pro-fessional knowledge, practical applications ability, with the purpose of better serving the training objectives.
