摘要 介绍了一种以烷基苯为溶剂的低毒、低腐蚀、低挥发性、高闪点新型液体闪烁体。经长达数年的测量和表征,此液闪具有高透明度、高稳定性、高光产额及良好的波形分辨等优点,易于保存,可以替代基于三甲苯、二甲苯、甲苯等溶剂的具有高挥发性、高腐蚀、高火灾风险并有一定毒性的传统液体闪烁体,且成本低廉,非常适合用于大体积探测器,还可根据需要掺入Gd、Nd等金属,应用于中子、中微子探测等领域。 Linear alkyl benzene based liquid scintillator is a new type of scintillator which has low toxicity, low volatility, chemical inertness and high flash point. After several years" study and characterization, the liquid sointillator has low absorption, high light yield, long - term stability and good pulse discrimination. The low costing made it suitable for large volume detector. If loaded with metal such as Gd or Nd, the scintillator can be used for neutron and neutrino detection.
