该文从弗米尔的目的论出发,分析医学论文摘要汉英翻译的目的,探讨医学论文摘要如何把中文摘要看作信息来源,按照译入语的语言和文化特征分析、处理、表达原文信息,增加英文摘要被国际信息检索系统收录的机会,更好地满足英文摘要接受者的需求。

Starting with Vermeer＇s Skopos Theory and the aims of the this essay discusses the ways to analyze the information in the source C - E translation of medical research articles, language and express it with the characteristics of the target language and culture by regarding the Chinese abstracts only as the source of information, to increase the opportunities of the English abstracts＇ being included by international main index systems and to satisfy the needs of the English readers.
