从时间推进的三个层面看体标记“了”的篇章功能

The Discourse Function of Aspect Marker Le(了) from the Perspective of Three levels of Temporal Progression

文章在前人对体标记"了"的篇章功能研究基础上,以Smith(2003)的"时间推进"概念为起点,区分宏观、中观和微观三个层面的篇章时间推进,并以此为视角通过实证分析考察体标记"了"的篇章功能。研究发现:宏观层面上,"了"能标示时间区间的边界;中观层面上,"了"能标记时间推进结构段的核心,并主要通过序列关系和阐述关系与其他小句关联;微观层面上,"了"能牵引出后续事件,其连用能快速推进时间,使事件关联更紧凑。研究显示篇章分层研究有助于更直接地定位体标记的篇章功能。

Based on the previous researches, with Smith （2003） ＂temporal progression＂ concept as a starting point, this article differentiate the macro level, meso level and micro level of temporal progression and discusses the discourse function of aspect marker le （了 ） through empirical analysis from this angle. Research finds that at the macro level, le can signal the boundary of time interval; at the meso level, Ze marks the head of temporal progression and connects other clauses mainly by means of sequence and elaboration; at the micro level, le can introduce the loll＇owing event; collocation of some le can rapidly progress time and make events connected compactly. This research also shows that stratification device helos more directly oositioning the discourse function of asoect marker.
