From this January to February, the total value of imported and exported farm produce stood at US$ 25.24 billion, increasing by 17.2% over the same period of last year, in which the value of exports stood at US$ 9.23 billion, increasing by 7.5% over the same period of last year, while that of imports at US$16.01 billion, increasing by 23.6% over the same period of last year. The trade deficit was US$ 6.78 billion, increasing by 55.2% over the same period of last year.
