The Traditional Cultural Foundation of Today's Harmonious Society

构建和谐社会是我们当前和今后一段时期内面临的重要而艰巨的任务。从文化资源的批判继承角度,探讨和谐社会理念的传统文化底蕴。儒、道两家的"天人合一"思想是人与自然和谐相处与发展的传统文化根源。儒家的"仁、义、礼、信"是今天人与人、人与社会和谐的文化遗传基因。传统文化中"民本"思想精华是我们今天"以人为本"原则的历史积淀。

Constituting the harmonious society is our task of importance and hardship, which we are facing nowadays and in future. This article experimentally analyzed the foundation stone of today＇ s harmonious society on traditional culture, by critical inheritance, dating from B. C.. The idea of the harmony between man and nature from Confucian and Taoism is one of cultural origin. Benevolence, righteousness, propriety and sincerity from Confucian is also the cultural gene of today＇ s the harmony between man and man, people and society. People-oriented essence and thoughts in our traditional culture should be the historic accumulation about people-oriented criterion nowadays.
