摘要
该文介绍了地理信息系统(GIS)在供水管理中的实际应用和对该系统的规划展望。通过对GIS在沪北所的应用简介,描述了GIS帮助工作人员在室内或户外实现各种设备信息快速查询、图文数字化管理、紧急事故处理、管线规划设计、多种业务数据的统计和分析等。
The application of GIS in management of water supply and expectation of GIS were introduced in this paper. On the basis of application of GIS in Hubei water supply institute, the functions of GIS such as rapid information inquiry, archives digital management, emergency treatment, pipeline design, data statistics and data analysis were described.
