In light of problems existing in traditional teaching of Civil Engineering Material curriculum, starting from the aspect of engineering ca- pacity, the author of the paper carries out teaching reform and practice from aspects of teaching targets, teaching contents and classroom teaching methods etc. As a result, it not only cultivates students＇ engineering capacity and creative capacity, but also improves the teaching quality.
