With adoption of literature study and logical analysis, the paper studied the 2012 Olympic Legacy Action Plan on the basis of British social, political and economic conditions. It was held that the modern concept of Olympic legacy had gone beyond the traditional definition and been enriched with the development of the Olympic Games. The protection of the Olympic legacy should be under greater attention.
