Station and relay node deployment strategy for optimizing performance and costs in heterogeneous wireless networks

摘要 当前关于异构无线网络中节点部署方式的研究工作,通常单一考虑基站或中继节点的部署策略,且较少考虑部署代价。通过建立0-1规划模型,设计隐枚举算法,先对单个基站且位置确定的情况,研究Adhoc中继节点的部署方式;再对单个或多个基站且位置未知的情况,综合考虑基站与中继节点的部署方式。仿真结果验证了方法的有效性,满足网络的部署需求,优化网络节点的部署策略,提高网络的整体性能,减少基础设施的部署成本。 Current researches on node deployment strategy in heterogeneous wireless networks generally consider base stations and relay nodes separately but rarely take deployment costs into account. By building 0-1 programming models and designing an implicit enumeration algorithm, we first study the deployment swategy of Ad hoc relay nodes alone for the case of a single base station with the determined location. Then we take into account the number and location of base stations, and systemically study the deployment strategies of base stations and Ad hoc relay nodes. Simulation results show that the proposed methods are effective to achieve network requirements, while improving overall network performance and reducing infrastructure deployment costs.
