Experience of ICU for Neurosurgical Patients—939 Cases Report

神经外科术后监护病房利于危重及重症病人的集中管理及术后护理 ;有利于护士及时发现病情变化 ,为抢救赢得时间 ;抢救措施完善 ,重点突出 ,降低了院内感染率及术后并发症的发生。

From Oct.1992 to Dec.1996,939 patients were nursed in neurosurgical intensive care unit after operation.Among them,516 cases are male and 378 are female.They aged ranging from 2 months to 90 years,averaged 36.1 years.The ICU period was 1 to 72 days (mean 5 days).There are 340 cases with intracrainial tumors;291 with spinal cord diseases,157 with other disorders,806 were cured or improved.110 cases in danger got served successfully.47 patients were died.Infection rate (1%)in NICU was lower than in common neurosurgery ward.NICU is beneficial to nurses to take intensive care of serious patients.
