Vision for Research on Chinese Dialects

本文在分析汉语方言研究历史、现状以及所面临的形势的基础上,提出了从"学理研究"到"问题研究"转型的主张。呼吁研究者把目光从方言内部转向方言外部,从方言本体转向方言的使用者、方言生存的环境以及方言所承载的文化,去关注、解答和解决方言在使用及发展中出现的各种问题,让自己的研究工作为社会服务。

This article search on Chinese dialects, proposes that on the basis of analyzing the history and the present of re as well as the situation it will face in the future, the research on Chinese dialects should transit from ＇ theoretical research＇ to ＇ problemoriented research＇. This article calls on researchers to make the research focus transfer from the inside of dialects to the outside of dia lects; from dialects themselves to the users of dialects, the survival circumstances of dialects, and the cultures that dialects take on. It is the responsibility of researchers to pay attention to the prob lems that appear in the process of using dialects, and to solve the problems. Only in this way, can the dialect research work service for the society.
