广东省图书馆创建于1912年,至今已达百年。文章通过梳理清末民初的文献,考证该馆的创办时间、成立经过,并根据茅谦、徐信符编印的馆藏书目,分析该馆1912至1930年期间的馆藏来源和主要构成部分,介绍当时的馆藏数量、特色等情况。

Founded in 1912, the Provincial Library of Guangdong, which is now renamed as Sun Yat-sen Library of Guang- dong, has a history of over 100 years. Consulting the literature materials dated to late Qing Dynasty, the essay does a research on the library＇s establishing time and creation process; analyses the sourcing and main components of the collection between 1912 and 1930; describes the collection＇s size and characteristics, according to the library＇s bibliography compiled by Mao Qian and Xu Xin-fu.
