Further Discussion on Improvement Measures of the Library OPAC Function

OPAC是高校图书馆读者检索利用馆藏资源的主要途径之一,完善的系统功能可以为读者提供更加便捷的服务。南京师范大学图书馆对其OPAC系统进行了开发和改善,如开发了跨校区图书"通借通还"网上自助服务功能、"虚拟书架"功能、馆藏书目信息"自助手机短信"推送服务功能以及在主页和馆藏目录检索中嵌入e读平台、在书目记录中增加"引文格式"功能等,以建设更具特色的基于OPAC的图书馆服务体系。

OPAC（Online Public Access Catalogue）is an main way of retrieving and using collection resources for readers in university libraries.Perfect system functions could provide more convenient services for readers.Nanjing Normal University Library has developed and improved the OPAC,such as developing the online self-help service coordinated loan and return of muti-schooldistrict books,the function of virtual bookshelves,pushing self-help short messaging service for collection bibliography information,embedding eduChina into the collection bibliography cataloging,adding the quotation format in bibliography records,and so on,in order to build the library service system with more characteristics based on OPAC.
