颜面不对称畸形牙弓特征的研究

A study on the dental arch characteristics of the craniofacial asymmetry

目的 研究颜面不对称畸形牙弓的形态特征 ,为临床治疗提供参考。方法 选取 44例颜面不对称畸形病例 ,测量牙弓宽度并与正常牙合做t检验。结果 不对称畸形上牙弓双侧狭窄 ;女性牙弓宽度窄于男性。

Objective To study the characteristics of the dental arch in the craniofacial asymmetry to give advice to clinical treatment.Methods Choose 44 asymmetrical cases,measure the arch width and compare the data with those of the normal occlusion by SYSTAT software.Results Upper arch is narrower than normal in craniofacial asymmetry.Conclusion The upper arch should be enlarged bilaterally during the treatment of asymmetry.
