In recent years,the capacitor fault incidence continues to rise,causing enormous harm to the normal operation of the power system.Taking the fault of #5 capacitor bank of 10 kV substation in certain place as example,this paper analyzes the specific factors of capacitor fault,and makes effective treatment programs combined with fault situation,hoping to inspire follow-up researches.
