Research Outline of Criticism History of the Ancient Chinese Historiography by Professor BaiYun is the first monograph of a systemic research of the criticism history of the ancient Chinese historiography. The first part analyzes criticism of ancient Chinese historiography in terms of development traces, basic form, methods, objects and categories, important standards and functions. The second part investigates ancient Chinese important historians, historiographers and historical critics, together with historical criticism of Zuo Zhuan, Sui Shu Jing Ji Zhi, and Catalog of Si Ku Quan Shu. The two parts enhances each other, showing prominent characteristics of ancient Chinese historical criticism and its very high academic value.
