Striving for excellence is a positive response to major changes in China＇s economic and social development, the historical demands of building up the contemporary Party＇s governing capability, an important measure to build up the Party under the new historical conditions, and a conscious choice of the Party to learn from the historical forwardness of wisdom and strength. Striving for excellence helps to vigorously carry forward the Party＇s glorious tradition and fine style of work and promote social development, social harmony, and stability. It is the essential representation of the Party＇s mass line, and also the essential requirement of the proletariat party.
