A Research Review of the History of Chinese Myths and Mythology in the New Period

新时期的中国神话研究可谓百花齐放、百家争鸣,大批神话学者的努力探索和辛勤耕耘使中国神话学成为人文科学领域内一枝独秀的现代学科。对神话史和神话学史的研究属于该学科的一项基础性研究工作,对神话学科的发展有着重要的现实意义。文章主要对新时期涌现出的神话史和神话学学术史的研究成果进行综述概括,力图清晰描绘出该研究领域三十余年间的发展轨迹和历史进程。

During the new period, in the field of research on the history of Chinese myths, several hundred schools are contending for their own ideas, which are just like a hundred flowers in blossom. The effort and exploration of hundreds of mythologists have made China＇s mythology develop into a distinguished modem subject in the field of humanities and social science. The historical study of myth and mythology has a fundamental and practical significance to mythology as a discipline. This thesis provides an overview of the research findings of the history of myths and mythology during the new period, which portrays the development and historical process of this research field during the past 30-odd years as clearly as possible.
