Industrialization and urbanization are two different sides of the same economic process. This paper makes an empirical analysis to relevant data on the degree of industrialization and urbanization in Lianyungang City. It works out the factors that constrain the interactive development of industrialization and urbanization in the city and provides references for the making of strategies that aim at ensuring the positive interaction of these two.
