摘要
辨喜是19世纪末印度著名哲学家和教育家。鉴于当时印度学校教育的弊端,辨喜提出了"成人"教育思想,其目标在于平衡个性之发展,包括智慧的头脑和一颗女人般善感与宽容的心。为实现这一目标,他主张以经过改造的新瑜伽学说作为教育内容,采用古鲁库拉的印度传统教育制度,按照瑜伽修行八法进行教学。辨喜的教育思想具有借鉴价值。
Swami Vivekananda, a well-known Indian philosopher and educator in the late 19th century, introduced his thought of manhood education to handle Indian schooling problems, which argued that a real educational aim was to make a man's balanced personality involving an intellegent head and a womanly benevolence and tolerance. To achive this aim, he suguested that the renovated Yoga and Guru-Kula's traditional educational system be adopted to teach in the eight exercising methods of Yoga. It is a suggestive idea to China's schooling education.
