The Women's Break with Poverty and Sustainable Development

The key to woman’s break with poverty and to their sustainable development is to incorporate women’s development into the general objective of mankind’s sustainable development and to integrate ridding the impoverished people including women of their poverty organically with the sustainable development objective of environmental projection and economy on resources. Since the World Conference on Women, China has integrated women’s poverty alleviation project with the projects for improved eco-environ environment and economized resources, and helping women may turn themselves from passive laborers into active mutual helpers and masters of their own.
