Discussion on the Technical Barriers to Guangdong's Export Trade and Its Countermeasures

通过研究技术性贸易壁垒对广东出口的影响状况,提出4个方面的应对策略,包括:进一步完善广东省技术性贸易壁垒预警系统;积极采用国际标准,参与国际标准化活动,加快推广技术标准的认证工作;调整产业结构,自主创新,提高企业技术水平;充分发挥行业、商会等中介组织的作用,构建统一协调机制。

The impact of technical barriers on today＇s international trading is increasing day by day.As China＇s largest province of export trade,Guangdong encounters the most trade barriers which have caused enormous losses to the relevant industries and manufacturers.By studying the impact of TBT on Guangdong exports,this paper proposes that there should be further improvements on the early warning system of TBT in the province;enthusiastic adoption of the international standards,active participation in the international standardization activities and the acceleration on the work of technical standard certification.The enterprises should adjust their industrial structures,enhance their technological levels with indigenous innovations,fully exploit the role played by the intermediary organizations such as industry guilds and chambers of commerce to establish a unified coordination mechanism.
