European Textile and Apparel Imports from China Declined 4.2% WTA data shows that the European textile and apparel imports from outside reached $21.42 billion from January to February in 2012, down 3.9 percent. Among them, imports from China reached $9.1 billion, down 4.2 percent, accounting for 42.5% of the market share of imports. In the first ten import source countries, imports from Bangladesh assumed the fastest growth, seeing an increase of 14 percent, while the imports from Turkey, India and Morocco declined more than 10%.
