摘要
在哈佛大学研究哲学期间,T.S.艾略特曾撰文指出康德先验哲学的局限性,这种反康德的哲学倾向在他后来的诗歌创作中是否有所体现,是本文的研究问题。本文以先验性、必然性、杂多性、一维性、无限性为维度,首先讨论康德先验哲学的时间观念,然后论证艾略特诗歌中的反康德时间观念。本文在最后试图指出,诗歌是艾略特反康德先验哲学的具体化事件,他的观念是时间具有经验实在性,时间并非具有必然性,时间的杂多统一于唯一神性,时间是二维空间性的,时间并不具有逻辑上先于一切的无限性。
During the period of the philosophical study at Harvard University, T. S. Eliot expounded the limitations of Kantian apriorism, and whether the tendency of anti-Kantianism continues in his poetry is the topic of this essay. By delineating the Kantian notion of time as a priori, as a necessary idea, this essay expounds Eliot' s notion of time as represented in his poetry. It is finally claimed that Eliot' s poetry is a concretized event of denying Kantian apriorism. For Eliot, time is an empirical entity rather than a necessary idea. Units of time are unified by the One God, and time is of two dimensions, but not logically a priori.
