摘要
词汇推理是第二语言阅读中附带词汇习得过程的关键环节。通过对国内外二语阅读过程中词汇推理研究进行简要的梳理分析,归纳总结了二语阅读过程中影响词汇推理的两大因素:语篇因素和学习者内部因素,前者包括语篇中目标生词本身的特征及其密度,语篇的话题熟悉度,语境等因素,后者主要包括学习者的语言水平,词汇知识水平和跨语言的迁移作用等,最后还谈及了词汇推理对二语阅读教学的意义和启示。
Lexical inference is a significant process in second language incidental vocabulary acquisition in L2 reading condition.This paper provides a general view of the researches on lexical inferencing in L2 reading condition both at home and aboard.And two main factors that influence lexical inferencing in L2 reading are summarized here: the textual factor and the learners own factor.The textual factor includes characteristics and density of the unknown words,topic familiarity and context.The learners' factor includes language proficiency,vocabulary knowledge levels and cross-language transfer.The paper concludes by a discussion of the implications the vocabulary inferencing has for L2 reading instruction with an aim to provide help to the development and teaching of vocabulary and to improve language learners' reading comprehension and incidental vocabulary acquisition ability.
