中国巴蜗牛科一新种 (肺螺亚纲 :柄眼目 :巴蜗牛科 )

A NEW SPECIES OF THE FAMILY BRADYBAENIDAE FROM CHINA (PULMONATA:STYLOMMATOPHORA:BRADYBAENIDAE)

作者对中国科学院动物研究所馆藏的巴蜗牛科标本进行了整理 ,并已知我国平瓣蜗牛属Platypetasus共计 16种和亚种 ,其中现发 1新种 ,即磁县平瓣蜗牛PlatypetasuscixianensisChenetZhang ,sp nov ,对新种的形态特征作了详细描述 。

The present paper deals with a new species of the family Bradybaenidae collected from Pengcheng Town,Cixian,Hebei Province,China Type specimens are deposited in the Institute of Zoology,Chinese Academy of Sciences Platypetasus cixianensis Chen et Zhang,sp nov (Figs 1 3) Holotype alt 9 0?mm,diam 21 5?mm;alt of aperture 7 0?mm,diam of aperture 8 40?mm;collected from Pengcheng Town,Cixian(36°3′N,114°3′E),Hebei Province,China July 1,1936 Paratypes 85 specimens,alt 7 5 11 5?mm,diam 21 0 24 3?mm;alt of aperture 5 5 7 9?mm,diam of aperture 7 0 8 5?mm;collected with holotype Shell moderate,thick,no lustrous,depressed lens shaped Whorls 412,moderately convex,the last one inflated,with high spiral part,being about equally convex above and below,and with a white and clear keel shaped process at its periphery Shell yellowish brown in colour,with spire lines and growth lines Apex blunt Aperture very oblique,oval,the peristome thick,expanded above,reflexed,with duple lips at right peristome Umbilicus small,deep The new species differs from the closely related species Platypetasus tectum sinense (Martens,1873)in smaller the size of the shell,with duple lips at right peristome The latter species with whorls 512,undulately carinated,the last one a little descending to front,and with corrugated keels shaped processes at the body whorl periphery
