摘要
孔子处在公元前6世纪至公元前5世纪的中国,而陶行知身处19世纪末20世纪前半期,二者作为中国教育领域的开拓者都有着特殊的意义。故理清他们的教育思想的不同发展走向,对中华民族上下五千年教育事业发展的认识有着相当重要的意义。从教育宗旨上看,孔子与陶行知尽管有着一样崇高的理想目标,可后者经过了现代思想的洗礼,明显较前者有了一个跨越式的发展,这直接带来了后者在教育思路、教育内容等各个方面对前者的超越。
Confucius lived in China from 600 BC to 500 BC while Tao Xing - zhi lived in the late nineteenth Century. They are all the pio- neers in the field of Chinese Education.It is very important to clarify the trends of their thoughts of education,for this contributes to the recogni- tion of the development of Chinese educational undertakings. Thought from the aspect of the educational aim,both Confucius and Tan Xing- zhi have grand ideal,the latter has been baptized by modem thoughts,so Tao Xing- zhi has evidently realized a major development which has brought about the latter's transeendences in ideas and contents of education.
