作者结合多年来的水利工程监理工作经验，介绍了水利工程监理机构组建、监理工作对监理工程师人员素质要求，并从质量控制、投资控制、进度控制和资料管理等几个方面对监理工作内容进行阐述，在此基础上提出了完善水利工程监理工作的方法措施，以期进一步提高未来工程监理的工作质量。

Combined with experience, it discuses that how to do the supervise work of hydraulic engineering from sounding supervise structure , increasing the disposition of supervise people, and expounding the contents from the following aspects, the quality supervision, schedule control, investment supervision, and so on. Based on the analysis of the features of the supervise work about hydraulic engineering, it proposes the methods and measures to improve the supervise work.
