IL-8和VEGF在鼻咽非角化性癌中的表达及意义

摘要 目的探讨白细胞介素-8(IL-8)和血管内皮细胞生长因子(VEGF)蛋白表达在鼻咽非角化性癌发生发展中的意义。方法应用免疫组化S-P法检测15例鼻咽黏膜慢性炎和80例鼻咽非角化性癌中IL-8和VEGF的表达,分析两者的相关性及与临床病理指标的关系。结果黏膜慢性炎组织IL-8和VEGF阳性率均为20%(3/15),而鼻咽非角化性癌中IL-8和VEGF的阳性率分别为67.5%(54/80)和65%(52/80),IL-8和VEGF在鼻咽非角化性癌中的阳性率均明显高于黏膜慢性炎组织(P<0.05);IL-8与VEGF表达呈正相关(r=0.328,P<0.05);IL-8和VEGF与性别、年龄、颈部淋巴结转移、病理类型、临床分期等临床病理特征无相关性。结论 IL-8和VEGF在鼻咽非角化性癌中存在过表达,在鼻咽非角化性癌发生发展中可能起协同作用。 Objective To explore the role of IL-8 and VEGF in the pathogenesis and development of nasopharyngeal non-keratinizing eareinoma(NPC). Methods Expression of IL-8 and VEGF was examined by S-P immunohistoehemistry in 80 NPC archival paraffin-embedded tissue specimens and 15 controlled chronic nasopharyngitis mueosa. The relationship between elinieopathologieal features and expression of IL-8 and VEGF were also analyzed. Results Expression rates of IL-8 and VEGF in NPC eases and were 67. 5% (54/80) and 65 % (52/80), respective- ly, versus 20% (3/15) for both IL-8 and VEGF in chronic nasopharyngitis. The expression rates of the IL-8 and VEGF in NPC were significantly higher than that in chronic nasopharyngitis ( P 〈 0. 05 ). There was positive correla- tion between the expression of IL-8 and VEGF( r = 0. 328, P 〈 0. 05 ). No correlation was found between the expres- sion of IL-8 and VEGF with patients' elinieopathologieal features as to gender, age, lymph node metastasis, histotype and TNM stages. Conclusion IL-8 and VEGF are over-expressed in NPC, and maybe cooperate as angiogenesis factors in the pathogenesis and development of NPC.
