The paper reviews the PISA reading assessment ,making a detailed analysis of the value concept and the specific contents. It elaborates thoroughly and meticulously with sample questions, pointing out its universal values, generalizing that PISA＇s reading idea is to guide the students to develop such new reading abilities as thinking-centered, comment-formed, personality promotion and thinking quality improvement-aimed.
