This paper discusses some effective measures for developing and utilizing the local literature resources mainly including four aspects of expanding the publicity and improving the understanding, setting up agencies and appointing responsible persons, making forms and making innovation extensive collection and carrying out the classification and cataloguing, and adopting various in order to provide references for the library to develop and utilize the local literatures.
