摘要
废名多变的艺术创作中有着可以把握的心理轨迹:他早期小说在乡土回忆的眷恋和"哀愁"中暗示了对现代都市生活的不满,《桥》从艺术精神和观念上接近传统,将诗的意境、禅的理趣和诗歌的构思方式消弥了人生短暂、韶华易逝的苦闷,从而获得美的永恒,最后废名重回乡土,儒家文化的济世品格和道德完善的君子理想终于与民族国家的现代性想象发生了深层的联系。在对故乡黄梅乡土人生持续不变地感受、观察和思考中,他演绎了个人探求传统文化现代化的道路的心理轨迹。
Fei Ming shows his distinctive psychological features in his changeable literary creativity. His early fictions reveal his sorrowful nostalgia of homeland and dissatisfaction with the urban life as in Bridge. His artistic spirit is traditional but endowed with poetic value, and Buddhist implicatures. This wears away the worries of the worldliness and regains the eternal beauty, joining the national modernity with Confucianism and traditional morality.
