摘要
开方术发展到晚清,受到西学东渐的影响又取得新的成就.对晚清中算家戴煦、夏鸾翔所创开方新术的算法复杂性进行了比较,认为夏鸾翔的方法比戴煦的方法更为简捷有效.
New methods of extracting root of a given number were obtained under the influence of the introduction of western mathematics in late Qing Dynasty.With the help of a programming language,this paper analyzes the complexity of DAI Xu's and XIA Luang-xiang's extraction methods and comes to the conclusion that XIA's is more efficient.
