摘要
本科英语学科定位及人才培养目标问题一直是英语学术界讨论的一个热门话题。厘清这些问题,有利于避免误区,更好地促进英语专业和学科的建设。文章分析了英语学科定位以及人才培养目标的关系,反思了英语学科定位以及人才培养目标的的常见误区,指出本科层次英语专业应明确学科定位,避免误区,培养学生"厚基础、高素质、强能力"的专业素养。
Discussions on tertiary discipline orientation and training objectives for English majors have always aroused wide in-terests among English researchers. Reviewing the basic contents of them can help avoid traps and put on the fight track of tertiary English discipline construction and professional construction. The paper first analyzes the relationship between discipline orientation and training objectives, and then reflects the traps commonly seen about them. Lastly, the paper points out the professional qualities English majors should own are "Solid Foundation, High Quality and Strong Ability".
