大学教学与科研关系的历史演化被引量：45

摘要大学教学与科研关系是不断演化的。其变迁轨迹大致是:中世纪大学公开的职能只有教学,而没有现代意义上建制化的科研;文艺复兴到18世纪末,大学之内产生了少量公开的科研活动,但是大学仍只是一个教学的场所;19世纪初,科研正式确立了在大学中的重要地位,"教学与科研相统一"成为大学的经典模式;20世纪以来,教学与科研从"统一"逐步成为彼此独立甚至对立的活动;当前,大学教学与科研关系处于十字路口——继续分裂、彼此平衡抑或积极互动。这是大学必须面对的重大的制度抉择。
