经典建构——以《诺顿美国文学选集》研究为例

Canon Construction:Illustrated by the Case of The Norton Anthology of American Literature

文学经典问题是文学研究的一个核心问题,而经典的建构更是其中的一个中心问题。本文通过研究《诺顿美国文学选集》来讨论文学经典的建构,指出文学的外部因素和文学的内部因素共同作用建构了经典,对经典建构因素的分析有助于我们认识和理清各种权利对经典的建构作用,便于我们进一步认识文学经典的实质。

Literary canon is the key problem of literature study,and the construction of canon is the core of this important problem.This article is a discussion of the construction of literary canon by analysing The Norton Anthology of American Literature,and as a result,we find both the outside factors and inside factors of literature take part in the construction of canon,and their combined power finally decides the canon.We will have a clearer cognition of the nature of the canon through the study of the factors and power in the construction of the literary canon.
