商务英语的教学与通用英语的教学有着很大程度的差异,商务英语教学的课堂上不应仅限于教师讲授商务知识与单纯地培养英语语言能力。商务英语的特殊性使其课堂应该是一个学生展示自我能力与挖掘潜力的平台。文章分析了商务教学的特点与常见模式,认为通过不断开拓摸索灵活的教学方式让学生参与到每一项商务活动学习中,以此来挖掘学生的潜能,增强学生的学习热情与信心,从而培养其独立思考问题和解决问题的能力,开拓创新与团队合作的精神,使商务知识和英语语言的学习与学生自身的综合素质培养共同进行。

The teaching of business English differs greatly from that of general English.In the basis of the special characteristics of business English,the class of business English should not only focus on the lecture of business knowledge and English training,but it serves as the platform where the students can display their capabilities and potential.The teacher should constantly seek any effective and flexible ways of teaching to make each student get involved in the business activities and tasks.Through the class activities and tasks assigned to the students,the students would take more interest and passion in studying business English while their confidence gets enhanced.They learn to think on their own,analyze issues and solve problems in teams.Self-confidence,innovation,cooperation and team-work spirit are all the essential qualities in the development of the college students and indeed they are the very qualities any organization and companies value highly.
