A Survey on Cultural Life for New Generation of Farmer-workers in Longyan

通过调查,龙岩市新生代农民工的精神文化生活总体情况处于良性发展的状态。他们的精神文化生活较有保证,质量也有了较大提升,出现了一些可喜的新趋势,但还存在从事精神文化生活的时间和金钱没有保障等亟待解决的问题。因此,要求政府从政策、资金等方面保障农民工,特别是新生代农民工的精神文化需求和文化权益;改变政府对农民工的文化服务方式;建设网上"农民工之家";举办农民工文化建设研讨会等,探寻破解困境的良策。

The survey has found out that the cultural life for the new generation of farmer-workers in Longyan is generally in the condition of favorable development. There appears a good new trend that the cultural life for the farmer- workers is fairly guaranteed and the quality is greatly improved. However, there still exist such problems as time and fi- nancial shortage. The survey suggested that the government should give enough policy and financial support to ensure the cultural rights for the new generation of farmer-workers, that the government should alter the cultural service mutes for the farmer-workers and that the construction of ＂i-home for farmer-workers＂ and seminar for farmer cultural construction should be conducted so as to find out some solutions concerned.
