食管鳞癌中斯钙素-1的表达及其临床意义 被引量:1

Clinical significance of stanniocalcin-1 protein expression in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma

摘要 目的探讨斯钙素-1(STC-1)在食管鳞癌(ESCC)中的表达及其临床意义。方法收集85例ESCC患者的手术标本,免疫组化法检测癌组织及其癌旁组织中STC-1蛋白的表达水平,并分析其与患者的临床病理特征及无进展生存期(PFS)的关系。结果 83.5%(71/85)的癌组织中STC-1蛋白表达评分高于对应的癌旁组织;癌组织中STC-1蛋白的高、中表达率为65.9%(56/85),而癌旁组织中仅为7.1%(6/85),差异有统计学意义(P<0.001)。STC-1蛋白表达与临床分期(P=0.015)及淋巴结转移(P=0.022)相关。STC-1蛋白高、中表达组平均PFS为17.5个月(95%CI:15.669~19.259个月),低于STC-1蛋白低、未表达组的21.1个月(95%CI:19.128~23.079个月),差异具有统计学意义(P=0.006)。Cox风险比例模型显示,STC-1蛋白表达是影响PFS的独立预后因素。结论 STC-1蛋白表达在ESCC发生发展中起重要作用,有可能成为ESCC预后的分子标记物。 Objective To explore the expression of stanniocalcin-1(STC-1) protein in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC) patients and its clinical significance.Methods A total of 85 paired ESCC tissues and their adjacent normal tissues were collected.STC-1 protein expression was analyzed by immunohistochemical staining in ESCC tissues,and its correlations with clinicopathological factors and progression-free survival(PFS) were further evaluated.Results There were 71 cases(83.5%) showing a higher level of STC-1 protein expression in tumor tissues than in adjacent normal tissues,and the rates of STC-1 protein high/moderate expression in ESCC and adjacent normal tissues were 65.9%(56/85) and 7.1%(6/85),respectively,showing a significant difference(P0.001).Furthermore,STC-1 protein expression was associated with clinical stage(P=0.015) and lymph metastasis(P=0.022).ESCC patients with high/moderate STC-1 protein expression had a poorer average PFS than those with low and unexpressed STC-1 protein(17.5 months vs.21.1 months,P=0.006).Cox proportional hazard model also indicated that STC-1 protein was an independent factor related to PFS.Conclusion STC-1 protein expression plays an important role in ESCC initiation and progression,and may be a potential biomarker for prognosis assessment of ESCC.
