社科论文中表格的常见问题与编辑处理

Common problems with forms in social science papers and editor's treatment

目前,社会科学研究日益从定性研究向定量研究、实践研究、实证研究发展,于是论文中就不可避免地出现了越来越多的用于呈现材料和数据的表格,但编辑对表格的加工修改、技术处理、优化规范方面的研究却十分缺乏。文章将社科论文中表格常见的七种问题,即表头缺失、横向栏目过多而处理不当、不当省略、文表不对应、中外文杂陈、表格多余、说明性文字列于表中等,作为案例进行分析,并设计了有针对性的编辑处理方式。

Social science research increasingly have its methodology extend from qualitative research to quanti- tative research, practical research, and empirical research. As a result, forms and tables have been more and more used in papers to present material and data, but editors still lack the skill to modify and optimize the forms. Seven common problems with the presentation of forms in social science papers are listed in the paper, and cases are ana- lyzed to propose some corresponding measures to treat them.
