近日，据美国《连载》（Wired）杂志官网报道，欧盟将出台一项新的安全规定，要求2014年初，所有在欧盟的新车都需要配备自动制动系统（AEB，autonomousemergencybraking），如果没有配备此系统的汽车都不会从EuroNCAP（汽车安全测试机构）获得五星级的安全认证，其中商用车有望从2013年11月开始配备AEB系统。

AEB—automatic electronic Brake system is designed to use radar technology to measure exact distance between the vehicle itself and the one or other object in front, and then conduct a comparative analysis over the real length with warning and safe distance. the system will be able to alert a signal when it is less than warning distance, and start auto brake system to stop the vehicle when it is less than safe distance even before the driver has time to step on the brake-pedal.
