TThe article analyzes the important control elements of the vertical design of road network in the areas under the condition of hilly terrain and according to the construction status and the area planning,and optimizes the vertical design of the area road network,puts forward the reasonable construction scheduling and reduces a great deal of earthwork investment under the premise of solving the main contradiction.
