In the history of Western philosophy, Wittgenstein is a language philosophy creator as a milepost. He is the first person in the world who observes and analyses the world from the perspective of language. He has put forward two views ： early logical image and later language game theory. His early and later language philosophies have already exerted a great influence on Western philosophy, especially his later philosophy promoting the research on pragmatics. Indeed, there is a transitional period of language between early and later philosophy. Based on the reflection of the middle period, Wittgenstein criticizes and inherits early philosophy and produces later philosophy. This paper will discuss the views of early and later philosophical language learning and analyze their influences and inspirations on modern language learning. Hereby, once we can deeply understand Wittgenstein＇s language philosophy, our language learning will be enhanced to a large extent.
