Comparative Study of Medical Researchers' Information Behavior Between US and China

本文旨在了解中美两国医学研究者科研信息行为的基本状况,通过在线问卷调查工具分别调查了531名中国医学研究者和533名美国医学研究者,针对与科研信息行为相关的信息获取、信息资源、信息素养、信息利用习惯和对图书馆服务的评价等因素进行调查,分析对比中美两国医学研究者在科研信息行为的特征和异同点。以期医学图书馆能够有针对性地对研究者提供科研信息服务,促进医学科研发展。

The primary purpose of this paper is to understand the basic situation of the Chinese and American medical re- searchers information behavior. 531 Chinese medical researchers, 533 American medical researchers were investigated through online survey tools. Access to information for research, information resources, information literacy, information use habits, and evaluation of library services were investigate. The characteristics, similarities, and differences of medical re- searchers＂ information behavior between U.S. and China were analyzed and compared. In order to provide research informa- tion services, and promote the development of medical research.
