摘要
人类前B细胞集落增强因子(pre-B-cell colony-enhancing factor,PBEF)首先被作为一种能够促进前B细胞集落形成的分子而被发现。近年来对PBEF的大量研究显示,PBEF在炎症与免疫、氧化应激、细胞凋亡和糖脂代谢等多种病理生理过程中发挥作用。PBEF在炎症中的作用可能通过其促炎细胞因子活性、Nampt酶活性和对免疫细胞凋亡的调控参与多种急性和慢性炎症过程。PBEF参与多种临床炎性疾病,如急性肺损伤、关节炎、感染所致的早产、炎性肠病、肾炎性疾病、脓毒症、肝炎、心血管慢性炎症等的病理过程,是炎症机制研究和治疗的新靶点。
Human pre-B cell colony-enhancing factor(PBEF) was first identified as a protein that stimulates early stage of B cell formation.Recently,it has been shown to be a multifunctional protein taking part in different pathological and physiological processes,including immunology/inflammation,oxidative stress,survival/longevity,and obesity/metabolism.The role of PBEF in inflammation may be exerted through its pro-inflammatory cytokine activity,Nampt enzymatic activity,and/or regulation of apoptosis in immune cells.Accumulating data associate PBEF with a variety of acute and chronic inflammatory conditions,including acute lung injury,arthritis,infection-induced preterm labor,inflammatory bowel disease,inflammatory kidney disease,sepsis,hepatitis and cardiovascular disease,etc.PBEF may be a new and potential target for studying inflammatory mechanisms and curing inflammatory diseases.
