With the similar product shape and value orientation for core industries, the study finds that sport industry and culture are mutually dependent and complement each other, which shows a convergence mechanism for the two. It proposes the strategies for the convergence that each give full play to his strong point as well as draw success experience from each other; coordination mechanism be set up to deepen the system reform in order to promote the sound development of the two industries in convergence; cultural grade of sport industry development be promoted to the path of connotation development; industry advantage of culture industry be given full play to promote the convergence of sport elements and culture elements; and industry convergence study as well as the training of talents be strengthened.
