摘要
针对现场可编程门阵列(Field Programmable Gate Array,FPGA)在通信、信息处理等众多领域的广泛应用,传统的基于专用开发环境的本地FPGA升级方式已经越来越难以满足相关工程师的需求。介绍了FPGA远程升级相关的配置方式、配置文件和文件可靠传输等技术。结合工程实践,提出了美国Altera公司FPGA远程升级实现技术,此项技术不需要增加额外电路和分立器件,基本硬件电路与传统升级方式下电路相同,通过功能扩展即可实现,使得FPGA的调试和升级更加便捷。
With the wide use of FPGA in various areas such as communications and information processing,the traditional local FPGA upgrade based on proprietary development environment no longer meets the FPGA engineers' demands. This paper introduces technologies related to remote FPGA upgrade, including configuration mode, configuration file and reliable file transfer. Combined with engineering practices,this paper discusses Altera' s techniques of remote FPGA upgrade, without additional devices and circuits. The basic circuit of this technique is as same as that of traditional upgrade,which facilitates the debugging and upgrade of FPGA.
