老年牙周炎患者中性粒细胞的研究

Research on the functions of neutrophil leukocytes in elderly patients with periodontitis

目的 :研究老年牙周炎患者外周血中性粒细胞趋化功能和吞噬功能 ,并与成人慢性牙周炎、青少年牙周炎的中性粒细胞趋化和吞噬功能比较。 方法 :测定三组牙周炎患者外周血中性粒细胞趋化和吞噬功能 ,并进行比较。 结果 :老年牙周炎患者中性粒细胞移动指数明显低于成人慢性牙周炎和青少年牙周炎患者 (P<0 .0 5,P<0 .0 1) ;吞噬能力和吞噬活性均较成人慢性牙周炎和青少年牙周炎患者明显减低 (P<0 .0 1)。 结论 :老年牙周炎患者中性粒细胞功能明显降低 ,可能是老年牙周炎发病率高、病情重、牙周组织破坏明显、牙齿缺失多的主要原因之一。

Objectives:Research on the functions of neutrophil leukocytes in elderly patients with periodontitis, matched with adult and juvenile patients. Methods:Chemotaxis and phagocytosis of neutrophil leukocytes were measured in the three groups of patients. Results:Chemotaxis and phagocytosis of neutrophil leukocytes in elderly patients were much lower than those in adult and juvenile patients( P <0.05, P <0.01). Conclusions:Defect of host defense may be one of the major factors causing periodontitis in elderly patients.
