Evolution of residential areas in China under condition of commodity economy

探讨了西方居住小区理论的渊源与演变,结合居住区规划建设实践,总结了目前我国居住小区规划的几种典型的营建范式,分析了新中国成立以来我国居住小区的演化过程,并对商品经济条件下我国居住小区规划的主要特征进行了探讨.

The origin and evolution of residential area theory are discussed in the paper. Combining the planning and construction practice of some residential areas, we summarize some typical construction para- digms of residential areas in China, analyze the evolution process of residential areas since the foundation of the Republic of China, and examine the main features of residential areas in China under condition of commodity economy.
